Kent is the owner of Peak Wealth Management, licensed through Manulife Wealth Inc.. In 1997 he earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in Canada and more recently his MBA (Fin) in finance in Australia. He is a strong believer in continuing education and plans on being a perpetual student for the rest of his life.

For 16 years Kent owned an accounting practice in addition to his financial practice. This has given him a valuable perspective and orientation on the tax landscape that has aided his corporate and personal clients. His passion is to work with executives and small business owners to grow their investments, thus allowing them time to focus on their families, businesses and building lives of significance.

Kent is married and has 6 children; 4 boys and 2 stepdaughters, as well as 2 daughters-in-law and 2 grandsons. His grandson sparked a passion for helping families that have children/grandchildren that have disabilities. He is an enthusiastic advocate of the RDSP (Registered Disability Savings Plan) which helps provide financial support and enhance the lives of disabled children/grandchildren.

In his free time, Kent loves playing golf and listening to music (especially 80s music!) His wife also says that he thinks that he thinks that he is much funnier than he actually is… he likes to think she is joking… he really is funny.
